The Octopus
The octopus is found in the waters of tropical and temperate areas of the world. They have two eyes, and their iconic 8 arms which are covered in two rows of suckers. The octopus doesn't have a internal or external skeleton, giving them the able to hide and go through very tight spaces. Even though they do not have a skeletal structure, the muscles in the octopus run in all directions so when they contract they form a support system. The muscles in the octopus are very complex, they are layered one on top of the other allowing the octopus to move in any which direction.
MOVEMent of the Octopus
Octopuses usually move along the ocean floor using their tentacles to crawl. The strong muscles allow the octopus to use the two back tentacles to walk on "legs" like a bipedal. They often blend in with the objects around them, not drawing attention to themselves while they travel.
